We had a wonderful experience working with Kat. In a sea of airbrushed matching outfits standing in a grassy field, her dramatic portraits really stood out to me. Chatting with her prior to the shoot, I had a fun time collaborating (and scheming) on how to get my 1 and 3-year-old to warm up to the camera (surprise balloons were in order). The day of the shoot was really fun and spontaneous with outfit changes, music, and letting the kids lead the way. And the final photos? Blown Away. Beyond what I had hoped for with a wiggly 1-year-old and shy 3-year-old. Hands down best photos of my girls ever taken!

Kat photographed a family event and was fantastic. She had this zen energy and was able to work magic in herding cats! For the family photos, she was exceptional in getting everyone into flattering poses and got a "keeper" in mere seconds! (Both kids and the dog were all smiling and facing the camera.) It was truly miraculous! At the event, she was totally unobtrusive at but always managed to be in the perfect spot to capture key moments. The photos are absolutely beautiful and reflect the joyful spirit of our event perfectly.

Kat recently did my business headshot. I am an interior designer and wanted a picture that really reflected me and my business; professional but warm and casual. She completely nailed it! Awesome! Kat did our photos for our Christmas card this year. I have two kids, 6 and 8, and Kat managed to get their best out of them even though they were NOT being accommodating! We have done professional photo shoots before and it seemed to be all about the photographer -- their convenience, their artistic vision, etc. Kat added exactly the right amount of direction without overwhelming my kiddos or us.
